Magic Kingdom’s brand-new nighttime parade, Disney Starlight, has officially debuted! The long-awaited parade made a surprise premiere 2 days early and took our breath away. This stunning new procession lights up the park twice a night with glowing floats, dazzling colors, and a dreamy soundtrack. Naturally, we’re celebrating its surprise launch the best way we know how—with custom hand-painted parasols inspired by Disney Starlight.

Every parasol begins as a blank canvas. Like the parade itself, they come to life with vibrant color, luminous detail, and a touch of nighttime wonder. Guests have already been requesting designs that capture the spirit of Starlight. From pastel skies and swirling stardust to shooting stars, glowing constellations, and quotes from the parade’s dreamy soundtrack.

Seasoned artist Virginia, who has been painting in the parks for years, has been especially busy since the parade’s premiere. Guests have been lining up with incredible ideas, and Virginia has been bringing them to life with her signature talent and flair. So far, she has created parasols inspired by the enchanted train that kicks off the show, the towering silhouette of Big Ben, a magical glowing candle, and a radiant fairy—just to name a few.

Many are choosing black parasols for these designs to make the vivid colors, sparkles, and artwork stand out brilliantly against the night sky. But of course, you’re welcome to choose any parasol color you like.
